Finally, spring is in the air! This past Saturday was the first day this year the temperature gage reached 58 degrees F. Kevin didn't have to work this particular day, we so packed up a picnic lunch for a trip to the local State Park. It was a gorgeous day... we ate hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, potato salad, and homemade baked beans. Not to mention, there were cookies for dessert.

Joleen did a fantastic job snapping some pictures today! Addie and I had a lot of fun together, too! Wow; being a mother is one of the greatest joys in the world, I believe. I am very blessed to have a beautiful little girl. I'm also SO blessed to have an awesome man taking great care of us! We're truly lucky girls -- or should I say, luckily blessed!

Thank you God for such great things You have done! I love You because you first loved me!

Our Baby girl -- Addie -- is now 5 1/2 weeks old! Addie is starting to smile -- which causes great excitement in our household!

Yesterday, Addie had her first official bath. I don't think she was all too exctited about it... What do you think?
